It was a great and memorable occasion where the
creme de la creme of Delta and Lagos State citizens trooped out to celebrate an icon Chief (Dr.) Sunday Onojeta Ovba an illustrious son of Delta State, The Ubiomo of Orogun Kingdom, First president general Orogun Kingdom, Ughelli North Local Government of Delta State who turned 80 on the 9th of September 2025 by his children, church, family members, friends and associates in what appears to be like a carnival to mark his 80th birthday ceremony in Lagos last weekend.

Chief Ovba and his amiable wife who danced to the admiration of guests gave glory to the Almighty God for sparing his life and making him who he is today as a successful business tycoon and a philanthropist.
Chief Ovba is an acclaimed member and patron of several cubs and associations including, The Good Shepherd of St. Andrews Anglican Church Ketu, Urhobo Social Club, Hoteliers Association of Lagos, Orogun Progressive Union, Urhobo Progressive Union Ikorodu, Mile 12 and Ikeja-Lagos, Erhuvwu Ladies International, Urhobo Isoko Traditional Chiefs Forum, Uhwenru Community in Lagos, NAFRC civilian Sgt mess, Oshodi Lagos, Aguno R’iniovo Social Club Lagos,

Orogun Voice Social Club, Ofejiro, Eguono, Ebruvwiyo, Erhuvwu and Oshuko Societies etc.
The invited guests including his family, children, church, club members, friends, workers and business associates spoke profoundly about him and urged the youth of today to emulate him in the act of kindness, contributing to the development of their community, giving to the needy and helping the poor as well as been a coach and mentor to the younger generation to do away with drugs and criminal indoctrinations in order to be fulfilled and live a healthy life.
