The much awaited capacity building for teachers of Lagos Education District VI has been scheduled to hold on Monday October 7, 2024 from 9am to 1pm at the American Corner, Ikeja, Lagos.
The training has as its Theme: Teachers Intellectual Pyramid; Focus on Tri-fold Learning On Gamification,
Artificial Intelligence And Learning Styles.
In a statement, the Convener, Olusegun Fashakin, a Fulbright TEA Fellow 2023, said the event aims to strengthen Nigeria’s education system by way of providing basic knowledge to help teachers of STEAM take learning to an enviable position.

He affirmed that participants will be exposed to thought provoking sessions that will help bridge gaps of blended learning in Nigeria’s education system.
According to Fashakin, the capacity building will be graced by Dr Shareefah Adejoke YUSUF, Tutor General and Permanent Secretary, Education District VI who is the host.
Others scholars expected at the event are, Owolabi Adelana, Educator & Researcher, United Kingdom, Monday Moju, STEM Educator USA, Olalekan Adeeko, Fulbright TEA Fellow 2015, Adeola Akinsulure, Fulbright TEA Fellow 2021, Maria Anastasiou Ph.D, UNC Greensboro, USA and Yelimar Herrera, EFL Teacher, Venezuela.
